Hi, I’m Serena! Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and over the years that passion has grown into a career I absolutely love. I’ve worked in boarding, daycare, rescue, and training, and through those experiences I discovered how much I enjoy helping dogs gain confidence and teaching them the skills they need to thrive. I started Forge & Focus K9 to share that passion with others and to create a space where every dog — from energetic working breeds to nervous rescues — has a chance to succeed. My Belgian Malinois, Lyra, is my inspiration and partner, and she constantly reminds me why forging strong bonds and focusing on clear communication makes all the difference.

I’m constantly learning more about training and animal care, and I love being part of the journey each dog takes with us. For me, it’s all about making sure the dogs feel cared for and that everything runs smoothly so Serena can focus on the training side.

Hi, I’m Lyra! I’m a Belgian Malinois with a big heart and even bigger energy. I’ve been Serena’s partner from the very beginning and inspired the name Forge & Focus K9. I love working, learning new skills, and showing other dogs how much fun training can be. When I’m not helping with lessons, you can usually find me chasing a ball, practicing agility, or soaking up belly rubs.

What’s up? I’m Shorty! Don’t let my size fool you — I run the show around here. I bring spunk, personality, and a whole lot of attitude to the pack. Whether it’s keeping the big dogs in line or snuggling up after a long day, I make sure everyone knows small dogs have BIG hearts (and big voices too!).

Hi, I’m Denali! I’m the pack’s silly sweetheart and the sister who keeps everyone laughing. I love wrestling with Lyra, learning new tricks, and showing off how smart I am (because I pick things up fast!). I’m playful, goofy, and always ready for a game, but I also love cuddling up once the fun is done.
